Types of Loft Conversions

A dormer loft is  usually required when there is not enough space within the existing loft area. A dormer loft creates extra headroom by extending vertically through a sloping roof. A Velux loft conversion makes use of the available loft space and is constructed around the existing roofline. A Mansard loft conversion is positioned at the rear of the property and combines a flat roof at the peak of the property with a rear sloping wall. A Mansard loft conversion is the ideal solution if you are looking for a stylish way to add an extra room/s to your property. 

A Hip to Gable conversion is the name of the process given to maximise the loft space within a semi-detached or detached property. This is usually combined with a rear dormer to guarantee maximum spatial gain.
